- Hardness by Portable Tester
Equipment Used:
- Vickers cum Brinell Hardness Testers
- Brinell Hardness Testers
- Micro Hardness Tester
Hardness Test Descriptions:
Vickers Hardness:
- Suitable for all metals with one of the widest testing scales.
- Measures a material's resistance to plastic deformation.
- The hardness value is represented by the Vickers Pyramid Number (HV) or Diamond Pyramid Hardness (DPH).
Brinell Hardness:
- Uses a 10mm diameter steel or carbide ball with a 3000 kg load.
- Best suited for determining the macro-hardness of materials, especially those with a heterogeneous structure.
Micro Hardness:
- Utilizes a diamond indenter with a test load of 1 to 1000 gf.
- Ideal for measuring small-scale hardness variations with indentation sizes around 50 mium.
- Suitable for detecting hardness changes at the microscopic level.
Our advanced equipment and precise testing methods ensure reliable results for various industrial applications.
